HEALTH INSURANCE AND VISAS:

 

Health Insurance:

The USMCOC will cover basic health insurance. We recommend you travel with additional medical and travel insurance (recommendations available). IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE YOU BRING PROOF OF YOUR ADDITIONAL HEALTH AND TRAVEL COVERAGE. The Chamber is not responsible for any emergency medical expenses incurred at any time, from the beginning to the end of the mission. The included medical coverage is basic.

 

Visas:

No visa is required for US or Mexican citizens to enter Singapore, Japan. Visas are required to travel to Vietnam, Indonesia and Taipei. If you hold a valid passport from country that is required to have a visa, please ensure that you secure the appropriate visa prior to travel. Also, please be reminded that [at least for US citizens] if your passport will expire within six months of foreign travel, it should be renewed prior to traveling. Expedited passport renewal service is available and ensures that your new passport will be issued in as little as two to three weeks.
