Los Cabos Properties and Baja Developers Land, owned
and operated by Reyna Houston. Our two firms are
full Real Estate companies that provide a wide range
of Real Estate and Investment Services. Services
include all aspects of the successful and complete
transfer of title for our clients’ investments,
ranging from custom homes, condominiums, building
sites, golf properties, income-producing properties,
businesses, hotels, condominium megaproject sites
and more. Our vast experience provides us with the

Reyna Houston comes from a family with the largest
Real Estate connections and network in Mexico City,
the Baja and Mexico. Her maiden name, Lomelin, is
associated with Real Estate. Among some of the three
generations of realtors and developers in her family
are AE Lomelin, GL Froup and Colliers-Lomelin, which
are involved in almost all the Commercial and high-end
Residential marketing of properties in Mexico City.
Our company has a large network of clients and
prospects worldwide, including the most powerful and
influential Mexican Developers throughout Mexico,
all of whom are interested in investments in Los
Cabos and the Baja Peninsula in general. We also
have a huge clientele for hotel sites from different
U.S. hotel chains and high-end residential
developers.
Reyna has lived in Los Cabos since 1988. She is
solely responsible for starting up the first--and
one of the most successful Property Management and
Vacation Rental companies, all in Los Cabos. At that
time, Los Cabos Properties was the very first
company in Los Cabos to provide vacation rental
services. In the ensuing years, we have kept only
the most exclusive and desirable oceanfront
condominiums and villas to represent. She is also
the first woman to own a real estate company in the
area, with a clientele that is 98 percent American
and Canadian.
In 2002, Reyna opened a new real estate division
named Baja Developers Land, which specializes
strictly in oceanfront land exclusively for resort
developers of all sizes. Baja Developers Land
currently owns or represents a very large inventory
of superior and unidentified properties from the Los
Cabos areas, East Cape, La Paz, Loreto, and many
areas along the Pacific. It is considered the
“Pioneer” real estate company for exclusive
oceanfront land for resort developers from around
the world, as well as being voted the “Fastest
Growing Company in Baja California.”
Over a period of more than two decades, we have
accumulated a large and very loyal clientele that
includes Mexican, American and European resort
developers, besides many American and Canadian high
end residential buyers.
From 1988 to 1999 we successfully marketed and sold
general real estate and property management and
rentals. Since 1999 we have specialized in marketing
and sales of luxury resort residential projects sold
mostly on pre-construction. We have profitably and
successfully sold the following projects:
1988 to 1999. General Real Estate and Developers
inventory total sales: US$120 million.
1999 to 2002. Puerta del Sol US$60 million price
range US$550,000 to US$3.5 million, sold 80 percent
of project, plus general real estate division sales.
Total sales: US$80 million.
2002 to 2004. Las Ventanas Residences US$50 million
price range US$500,000 to US$3.5 million, plus
general real estate sales. Total sales from October
2002 to July 2004: US$80 million.
2005. El Encanto US$300 million in nine months,
price range US$495,000 to US$3.5 million, plus
general real estate sales. Total sales for November
2004 to August 2005: US$60 million.
2006 to 2009. Sales undisclosed but calculated,
approximately, to be more than US$600 million. Most
are oceanfront megaproject raw land parcels and
smaller oceanfront land tracks for smaller
developers in Baja California South, from the Los
Cabos areas as far north as Baja California North,
mainly on the Sea of Cortes side as well as the
Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula.
In addition to marketing and sales, Reyna has in-depth
knowledge and resources to obtain information and
performance about different components of
development, including sub-divisions, condominium
regimes, construction permits, development permits,
taxation, legal and accounting knowledge. Her
companies have the resources, experience and
knowledge on all aspects of closing transactions
including appraisals, certificates, recording, bank
trusts, deeds and title insurance.
Reyna is a Founding Member of AMPI Los Cabos (Mexican
Association of Real Estate Professionals), Founding
Member of MLS Los Cabos and CANACO Special Real
Estate Section. She served on the Board of the
Executive Committee MLS Los Cabos; she is also a
former President of all of these organizations. She
served as Vice President of Real Estate for the
Mexican American Chamber of Commerce; has written
policy and procedures for the Real Estate industry
in Los Cabos, and is a pioneer and promoter of
utilizing third party escrows through Fidelity Title
in Los Cabos. She is a member of NAR (USA National
Association of Realtors) International Section,
FIABCI (International Real Estate Federation), Who
is Who in Luxury Real Estate and ULI.
Born in Guerrero, Mexico, Reyna Houston speaks
fluent English, Spanish and sixty percent French,
and is particularly bi-cultural. An avid golfer, she
also likes fishing and traveling around the world.
She studied in London, England, Bournemouth,
Portsmouth and South Sea, as well as in Mexico City
and Monterey, California. Reyna attended the
Monterey Peninsula College and the Monterey
Institute of International Studies while working as
a linguist, teaching Sociolinguistics Area studies
and Spanish, for eight years in Monterey,
California. She is the single mother of two
beautiful daughters, both studying in college abroad.
